The Head of Marketing, reporting to the CEO, will have a key role in ensuring Lynx Analytics’ ongoing business growth. As the lead for the company’s marketing function, you should demonstrate thought leadership in driving lead conversion through content and event marketing to drive our marketing function by taking it to the next level.

The ideal candidate should have experience in building and managing a marketing function within a B2B technology and / or analytics business and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, as well as possessing hands-on expertise with inbound automation systems. This role will require expert knowledge in marketing content creation for the full lead conversion cycle, particularly for B2B solutions where there are multiple stakeholders and client topics.

This position will primarily support our business growth globally, including with marketing efforts across several territories (depending upon business requirements), so some level of travel may be required.



  • Be the single accountable owner for the company’s marketing function, and thought leader in driving lead conversion through content and event marketing
  • Deliver annual marketing strategy, plans and budget (including signing off 12-month conferences, CRM, lead generation and media buys)
  • Work closely with CXO, Product and Sales teams to conceptualize and plan content marketing roadmap
  • Guide in-house digital marketing execution to define and achieve SEO and early funnel growth KPIs against the set strategy
  • Work closely with our internal resources, freelancers and agencies to create convincing product marketing content and branding assets
  • Working with partner marketing teams, such as resellers and integrators, to launch joint marketing campaigns
  • Quarterly planning, review and reporting, including KPIs: to ensure work and projects remain on track across the marketing function, and there is the right involvement of the right people at the right time
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to reputation and profitability of the business
  • Understanding how underlying trends are likely to affect future performance; contribute to broader discussions on non-marketing topics
  • Represent the Company and the brand at high level brand and/or industry events



  • Degree qualified, preferably in a business discipline
  • Experience in a business-to-business sales or business development role, ideally in the financial services or telecommunications sectors
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics and Big Data positions
  • Experience in building the sales function from the “ground up”, preferably with a rapid-growth environment
  • The ability to generate a strong pipeline of prospects and to close sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with manage multiple stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organisation (including the ability to present to C-suite executives)
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Highly organised and disciplined with the ability to work autonomously and be self-managing
  • High level of initiative and proactivity with an energetic and enthusiastic approach
  • Willingness to undertake travel as required (approximately 30-50%, within the region)
  • Additional language abilities are appropriate to the region would advantageous but are not essential.
