Founded in 2010, Lynx Analytics is a predictive analytics company run by world class quantitative marketing scientists and industry experienced data scientists. Our focus is on solving big challenges primarily through the deployment of our proprietary big graph analytical platform, which is based on a powerful Hadoop and Apache Spark back-end.
Our head office is in Singapore and we have operations in Hong Kong, USA, Hungary, Indonesia and presence in a few other south-east Asian countries. Our clients include some of Asia’s largest telecommunication companies and banks, and we are currently expanding geographically and into other industry verticals. Our teams’ qualifications are global, including Professors, PhDs, MScs, and MBAs from Ivy League schools, INSEAD and NUS, as well as experience at other start-ups and blue-chip companies (Google, Palantir, SAP, Vodafone, Barclays, GE, Morgan Stanley, to name but a few). It is the combination of our insightful frameworks, product development capabilities, and these qualifications that make up the true value of Lynx’s proposition.
Lynx Analytics technology is already deployed across the region for various clients, and there is significant growth potential for the company as well as numerous career opportunities as we scale up our operations.
Lynx Analytics is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to work on software components for our solutions. The high level goal is to create top notch IT modules to bridge the gap between insights generated by our data scientists and the actual, day to day needs of business execution. Lifting data science results out of excel sheets or data files in a Hadoop cluster and turn them into actionable business outcomes. Concretely, this may mean building integrations with client systems, building our own UIs to support certain business processes, implement graph visualizations to help explain our graph insights to non technical client users and so on.
You are going to be a senior member of our Budapest based central engineering team.
