A major provider of telecommunications services in the Philippines. It operates one of the largest mobile, fixed line, and broadband networks in the country with over 50 million mobile subscribers in the country.


Objective

To reduce “unknown” characteristics (gender) of their subscriber base.


Our Solution

  • Prepared 27 different variables to explain the gender of their existing subscribers.
  • Used Lynx Graph Analysis and Viral Modelling to search the graph for strict rules to explain “unknown” properties. Applied these rules to reduce the number of “unknown” type subs and re-evaluate the graph.

Identified the gender of 76% of “unknown” subscribers which provided the company with the opportunity to strategize effective marketing campaigns based on their audience demographics.
